  This was a a-synch course where Dr. Lang was unavailable. Her responses to email were often late or none at all. At the end of the term she has only graded 30% of my work with zero feedback. The workload was huge, spending 20-30 hours a week on assignments. Her directions on assignments are vague and confusing and the text book was hardly used.

  She doesn't grade anything until you receive the final grade therefore having no idea if your assignments are done wrong until it is too late. She uses an online textbook with confusing material not meant for an Intro class and didn't even use it in consideration for the final grade which was ridiculous considering it took me hours to complete!!

  DO NOT TAKE HER. SHE WILL RUIN YOUR GPA! She tried to make it seem like she was helping us. Meanwhile, the whole time, she said all of our work was wrong, not just me but the entire class. I had to drop her class because she was getting too disrespectful with wrongful accusations. I had never dropped a class in college, and she made me do it.

  I don't think Lang is a bad professor however, I was extremely dissatisfied with how my semester went. The amount of work assigned did not correlate with what was learned in class and when I and other students asked Lang questions on how to do assignments they weren't answered at all or just left the entire class even more confused.

  she rushes through 100 (or more) powerpoint slides in one class period, randomly calls on you to answer questions and if you don't know the answer she assumes you weren't paying attention. exams were so difficult and nothing like what we learned. doesn't give clear instruction about assignments. don't take this class if you can.

  I thought this class would be as easy as Bio one, although there was an in-person lab class running simultaneously. Bio one, we didn't use the lab book. I hate that I am struggling in Bio 2 because of that. Dr. Lang was willing to help but now has distanced herself because some classmates were continually rude. She is smart, and I am learning tons

  If I could give this professor a 0/0, I would. She is the worst. I am in her class and she explains a whole lot of nothing. I'm in Dr. Lang's lab and all she does is lecture and go off on tangents. Oh and if you need her to clarify something she'll give you her best and only answer, "Think critically." Gee, thanks for clarifying nothing.

  I heard great stuff about Dr. Lang before taking this class. She is great. Some of my classmates were rude to her at the very beginning. In my opinion, some students took the remote lab class thinking it will be effortless, like BIO 1. I am learning in this class. She goes through lab work page by page with us.

  BEWARE!!! Confusing lectures in the lab class. She does the bare minimum when conducting the classes, heavily relying on videos. She discourages questions and does not like students asking for clarification of the material presented in class. And, if she responds you 're left more confused than you were initially. Very CONDESCENDING!
