On the exit front, Brighton are stepping up their quest to land Matt O'Riley after Southampton and Atalanta both had bids rejected for the Denmark star. A left back is still on the wanted list while St Mirren are keen on bringing in Yuki Kobayashi and Dane Murray is set for Queen's Park.

Former Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou wants to take the Bournemouth man to Norht London.

But the Cherries boss feels his key striker is HAPPY at his current club.

It's obvious, Dom is the most important player for us. But the numbers are there. It's not [just] about the goals, he helps us a lot in the build-up, the press. He doesn't have big weaknesses for us, he makes us a much better team.

I feel like he's happy here. He's already training with the group. We cannot control everything, we don't know how the market is going to finish but whatever happens he is a top professional. He'll be helping the team, I hope, for a lot of years.

Dynamo deny Shaparenko sale rumours

Transfer news - LIVE updates (3)

Dynamo Kyiv have denied they are set to sell star man Mykola Shaparenko in the midst of a Champions League tussle with Rangers.

Reports in Turkey and Ukraine claimed that Trabzonspor had submitted a bid for the midfielder and that Dynamo were considering cashing in on the 25-year-old Ukrainian international ahead of their third round qualifier second leg against Philippe Clement's team next week.

Shaparenko was subbed during the 1-1 draw in Poland on Tuesday night, with Cyriel Dessers levelling for Rangers deep into stoppage time.

But Dynamo have strongly denied any offer from Trabzonspor and have assured fans that they will ONLY sell Shaparenko to a club from a top league who make serious offer, and that apparently doesn't include Turkish Super Lig sides.

That means he's almost certain to line up against the Light Blues at Hampden next Tuesday night to decide who progresses to the play-off round.

Rangers transfer news latest

Transfer news - LIVE updates (5)

Despite needing funds to bankroll further incoming transfers, Ian Hagi could be allowed to leave Rangers for free this summer, according to a report.

The Romanian international, who spent last season on loan at La Liga outfit Alaves, still has a year left to run on his Ibrox contract but isn't part of Philippe Clement's plans going forward.

He's been earmarked as a potential sale to help boost the Belgian's transfer kitty with the Gers still on the lookout for a midfielder and a striker. It had been thought Hagi was close to a £3million return to Fiorentina, but there has been little developments on that front.

And now, despite impressing for his country at Euro 2024, Hagi could be allowed to depart for nothing, according to Tuttomercatoweb. That could help drum up more interest in the attacker, whilst also getting him off the wage bill to free up more space in the budget.

No bids for McCowan

Transfer news - LIVE updates (6)

Dundee boss Tony Docherty insists the club have not received any offers for skipper Luke McCowan.

Reports earlier this week claimed that the Dens Park side had knocked back bids from both Hibernian and Bolton Wanderers for the 26-year-old, who was on the scoresheet in last Sunday's 2-2 draw against Dundee United in the derby.

But speaking to the media ahead of Saturday's clash with Hearts, Docherty says no bids have came their way.

Listen, Luke McCowan is our player and I have a special relationship with him. As with a lot of players in my squad, when you are doing well you are going to attract suitors.

But at the moment it's speculation. There are no bids that I am aware of or have been brought to my attention. It might have went to the club, but as manager it certainly there has been nothing brought to my attention.

Luke is a Dundee player, he is my captain and he does that every day and he is continuing to do that and until I am told different he will be my player and that relationship.

There is so much speculation. I get eight or nine names thrown at me every day but until anything is factual I won't get involved in it, and that is transfers in and out.

That's what happens in this industry, there is loads of rumour and speculation. I am quite objective. I think you deal with fact.

Fresh Idah bid could be on the way

Transfer news - LIVE updates (8)

Johannes Hoff Thorup has welcomed Adam Idah back into the Norwich fold, but admitted another bid COULD come in from Celtic for the striker.

Idah was disciplined by the club for missing a flight to a pre-season friendly against Hoffenheim in Germany, with speculation linking him with a permanent move to the Premiership champions thought to be a factor involved.

Brendan Rodgers wants to bring the Ireland international back to Parkhead after a successful loan stint last year, but the Canaries are standing firm on how much they want to let Idah go.

Reports have emerged that the Hoops are preparing a fresh offer for Idah, thought to be for £8million, with claims that previous attempts to land him for £4m and £6m were unsuccessful.

That could be enough to tempt Norwich into selling, although they are also braced for Leeds trying to prise Jonny Rowe away from Carrow Road.

Kierney honest on Arsenal future

Transfer news - LIVE updates (12)

The arrival of Riccardo Calafiori has keen Kieran Tierney fall further down the pecking order at Arsenal.

The likes of Jurrien Timber, Oleksandr Zinchenko, Jakub Kiwior and Takehiro Tomiyasu are also ahead of the Scotland star in the left back slot, with Tierney spending the whole of last season on loan at Real Sociedad in La Liga.

Back in May, the 27-year-old was very honest about his chances of getting back into the team on his return to the Emirates.

He said:

Look at the squad depth in that position now. They have Zinchenko, [Jurrien] Timber, [Takehiro] Tomiyasu, [Jakub] Kiwior. Four players can play there.

So if I go back and it's the same as before then I'm not silly, I know the chances are I'll be leaving.

But you never know in football. You get the rare case with [William] Saliba, where he came back after a couple of good seasons [out on loan] but you don't see it too often with someone who has played for four years, left, and then come back to play again.

Stranger things have happened. I could go back and there is a place for me. So I'm prepared for both.

He has all the attributes to be a success in this league. Players of Kieron’s ability and potential are always in high-demand, so to sign of player of his calibre shows the ambition that we’ve got here.

This is a transfer that we’ve been working on for some time and we’re delighted to get it done. He’s a really ambitious young man and I look forward to seeing him in Hibs green and white.
