Guide - The Final Guide You Need For Voidglooms. (update {no more mage}) (2024)

This post will try to explain everything from the low level T1 gloomers all the way to hypermaxing this slayer in an easy to understand and comprehensible way, hope you enjoy!

this will NOT go over hypemage for now, sorry folks.

if multipule items have a / next to it, its either used as space or it means the items are interchangeable with each other

First, the mods! i recommend using skyhanni for all your glooming adventures as it's features prove to be really helpful for this boss!
what i have turned on is
Highlight beacon
Show warning
Show line
Highlight Nukekubi skulls
Hide particles
It may be noted that other mods have other features and that this is all up to preference, this is just an example of what I use.

Now, with the mods out of the way I think we can get on to the full guide.

THE NOOBIE SET UP
This slayer isn't easy or cheap to start, so if you are working with a tight budget to get started, you may struggle to buy everything. That said, we all start somewhere!

Armor

Tarantula helm//////////Reaper mask/revived heart/final destination helm
Necron's chestplate//////////Necron's chestplate/final destination chestplate
Necron's leggings//////////Necron's leggings/final destination leggings
Necron's boots//////////Necron's boots/final destination boots

You really have many options for low level glooming, my absolute recommendations are reaper mask and "FD" (final destination) as if you upgrade that, it can easily take you from T2's to T4's.
If you choose FD then i recommend getting 1.2k-5k kills on it, it is valuable!
Equipment

(vanquished) Magma necklace///ender Necklace
(vanquished) Ghast cloak///ender cloak
(vanquished) Blaze belt///ender gauntlet
(vanquished) Glowstone gauntlet///ender belt

If you can I recommend the Vanquished Isle equipment, it's very good and you may end up using it as a budget option for T4's so it's very useful to have. esp if you're struggling without equipment or with the ender equipment.

Magical Power

you want around 400MP using shaded, itchy, or scorching.
Maybe you can do it with less, but this is just a recommendation, and the more the better!
If you can't survive using any of these, use crumbly, its cheap, and you'll be doing a fair bit less damage, but at this level you just want to slay the boss and keep going.
for a specific talisman, i recommend you have blood donor ring as the mana regen is nice for you if you need to heal and it gives regen
some nice talismans to have to are
hunter ring
red claw artifact
bat artifact
razor-sharp shark tooth necklace
devour ring
day/night crystal
survivor cube
healing ring
tarantula talisman
vampire dentist relic (expensive)
Weapons/hotbar utilities

Anything from a livid dagger to a felthorn reaper to a giants sword will work I found! I haven't tested voidedge katana at this level yet, but it's something to keep note of when doing voidglooms as this is the weapon you WILL NEED for the future with its upgrade.
Please, DO NOT put OFA on your weapon of choice, if you are dying put T6 enchants on your weapon, you get more survivability due to syphon being your friend here.
I recommend nothing less than wand of mending and mana flux power orb

Pet
I recommend having at least a level 70 epic enderman pet with a shelmet, this pet is very good for its damage reduction ability and crit damage capabilities

Demonstration
If you don't understand how im able to do this, watch this video, it may help. you should spawn in the middle where I spawned!!!
Please note the video is different from what is in the guide as I didn't have every item on hand, so sorry, but it should be pretty faithful still.
When filming the video i had 550mp, a clean livid dagger, a level 78 epic enderman pet, and was using the shaded power.
I used no orb and a clean dagger to hopefully lower my stats more to make it feel more right, please tell me if I should tweak anything.

Getting there!

Have you finally ate enderman level 5 and you want to advance to the next level? You've come to the right place if you want to learn how to do a T3 then.

Armor

final destination helm/reaper mask
final destination chestplate
final destination leggings
final destination boots

self-explanatory, final destination is pretty good for what it is, I recommend 10k-25k kills on it to make sure you won't perish to this beast of a boss, if you have that and still can't survive, try reaper mask for the amazing survivability you get from it!

Equipment
Vanquished Magma necklace///molten necklace//Rift necklace
Vanquished Ghast cloak///molten cloak
Vanquished Blaze belt///molten belt
Vanquished Glowstone gauntlet///molten bracelet

if you have done the rift, great! You should probably choose the rift necklace, if you got some nice money then i would go for molten set with good attributes, if you can't go for molten set with good attributes then go vanquished set with good attributes.
the attributes I like on my equipment is dom/vit, there's better out there but this is what I like for the more dmg and healing.

Magical Power
you want around 550MP including all the talismans that were included prior (here is the repeated list)
hunter ring
red claw artifact
bat artifact
razor-sharp shark tooth necklace
devour ring
day/night crystal
survivor cube
healing ring
tarantula talisman
vampire dentist relic (expensive)
you will want to be using the scorching or hurtful stone powers

However instead of vampire dentist relic being nice to have, i would say just get it, for 60m (current price) it's very worth imo.

i would also look into the ender artifact if you can afford it, it's around 370m though so just a nice thing to have for now.

Weapons/hotbar utilities
a t3 is no light work, you *NEED* vorpal or atomsplit, you need t6 enchants, and you should also want an overflux.
you NEED wand of atonement if you want consistent survival
a straight up nonnegotiable is an item with the raise souls ability with M3 tank zombies, *maybe* wither specters. This includes reaper scythe, summoner ring, and necromance sword.

Pet
I recommend a level 80 legendary/mythic enderman pet, same thing as before, big dmg reduction is really good for this boss and it still does some nice dmg. the mythic "enderman slayer" perk is something to keep forever, even if it's not something you use during the boss itself

Demonstration
if you are struggling with the T3 guide, trying looking over what i do in this video,
i was using full FD with 590mp on hurtful power.
i was using a vorpal katana with overflux, wand of atonement, and necro sword.

getting good!

are T3's too easy for you, are you looking for a bigger challenge with more reward, look no farther than a T4 voidgloom, the final challenge.
(T4 bosses will have 3 levels of guides to it.)

T4's aren't too different from T3's, just a bit harder at the end and longer phases so you can feel the heat, and because of that the upgrades are fairly simple as you already have the base of what you need.

to put it simply, it's how much are you willing to invest more into this boss now, just keep upgrading and you'll be golden.

Armor
FULL FD 25k+ kills (you have this already if you followed the guide (optional reaper mask)

Equipment
Use rift necklace, it has good stats and magic find, fun for the whole familly
everything else use the molten set or vanquished set with what attributes you like/can afford. Molten is better but more expensive so keep that in mind.

Magical Power
youre going to want at least 700mp, nothings really recommended to get here, just get what was recommended before and then go for the cheapest mp you can get (do /missing in a discord server with the skyhelper bot)

Weapons/hotbar utilities
atomsplit katana is what you want here! You have everything else! only thing I can really say is get a flawless/perfect gemstone on your atomsplit, maybe get es7.

Pet
level 100 mythic enderman is key here, you can opt in for level 100 legendary ender dragon pet but that's honestly a lot of money, id wait till the next T4 section to get one unless you don't like kuudra Guide - The Final Guide You Need For Voidglooms. (update {no more mage}) (1)

Demonstration
if you are struggling with t4's, maybe watch my demonstration video to see how I do it, imo, it's all in the Rythm so build one and keep it! I know my comp in the video wasn't the fastest, but I know for a fact with a similar setup you can be getting sub 60s bosses which is not bad.

The Quest For Perfection.

yall like your FD? well I could only get you so far, this T4 guide is the end of your best friend, the final destination set.

Armor
full burning 10* crimson or better with legion 5, g6p6 and good attributes (I recommend one of your attributes be veteran)
optional warden helm

Equipment

Still use rift neck
rest use molten set unless you are poor like me, then I would still use vanq set but if you can, use the most amount of molten with the best attributes you want!

Magical Power
900+mp by now you already know how and why you should just keep improving your mp, so keep getting higher mp with every core you get you madlad

Weapons/hotbar utilities
atomsplit ofc, get es7 and start working on the rest of the t7's too enchants too, however now you're going to want to keep ender peals in your hotbar and/or inv and your prob going to want a rag axe/sword of bad health too.
say goodbye to summons dying on you, youre replacing that with a good old terminator with explosive arrows (duplex preferred)
if you have it and can fit it in your inventory, get hype in there too so you can put up your shield during the jump phase.
Pet
level 100 ender dragon, make sure it's not tier boosted so you don't have to take kb

Demonstration
again, it's all in the rhythm, don't lose too much focus or something may go terribly wrong.

perfection.
this is the end of the road for T4 voidgloom progression, this is the best of the best stuff not much better than this.

Armor
10* infernal crimson or better. magic find/veteran attributes

Equipment
full molten magic find/veteran attributes
optionial rift necklace

Magical Power
1500+mp

Weapons/hotbar utilities
Chim V atomsplit with all t7's L5, GK7, Vicious 5, ES7, Crit 7, sharp 7, etc. etc.
Chim V rag axe
Hyperion
SOS Flare
everything else.

Pet
ender dragon

Demonstration
same as last one, just better because I suck lololololol

********notes for ALL, from the bottom to the top, if you struggle to survive, might I recommend putting on ruby power scrolls instead of jasper, putting your book of progression on damage reduction instead of damage output, and butting the blood-soaked reforge on your cloak I tried to make this guide comfortable instead of the bare minimum because trying to do the bare minimum sucks as you will end up dying more often as a result.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand that's about all for the guide parts.
i really enjoyed making this thing as it tested my knowledge and I give me hope that others will pick up one of my favorite things to do in this game.
thank you to everyone who uses this and or helps me make it better after I post it!
this is my first post on here, so interactions are appreciated big time.
ill try to be in the comments responding to people if this gets some attention
anyways, thank you, happy glooming, drop many cores!
