Hazardous Items
Some of the items which we supply (Batteries, Chargers, Lubricants and Oils) are considered hazardous when shipped. As such we need to take extra measures to ensure your order arrives safely. All ex-stock orders for Hazardous Items must be received before 1:00PM in order to be dispatched the same day. Our delivery charges for hazardous items are as follows:

Click and Collect
You can choose to collect your orders for FREE from either ourBradford or London offices.
Ex-stock orders placed before 3:00PM (1:00PM for Hazardous Items)will be ready for collection immediately from our Bradford office or from 12:00PM (noon) the next working day at our London^ office. Orders placed after our cut-off will not be processed until the following working day unless otherwise confirmed by Shorts at the time of ordering. Availability and lead time of non ex-stock items will be confirmed within your Order Confirmation.
Our Click and Collect service allows you to collect your orders at a time which is most convenient for you and your engineers and reduces the risk of lift spares being misplaced when delivered to site.
^Free Collection (London) service is only available for items which are no greaterthan 2000mm(l), 600mm(w), 600mm(d) or 30kg, other exclusions may apply. Orders which exceed these parameters will be subject toour standard delivery charge. Shorts reserves the right to withdraw this serviceat anytime and without notice.
