Some have interesting stories about the origin of the names; in other cases nobody really knows why towns ended up with names like Sawdust, Corkscrew and Picnic. Some time ago, a newspaper quoted her husband Carey on a disputed version of the story. A former Two Egg resident was incensed and stomped off to tell the newspaper the "real story" about the town's name. "It came out the next day that we were a bunch of liars over here.
